Born in Balic to wealthy merchants, he was raised to be a merchant. As the third son, he spent his time working on silt ships. He lived as easy a life as one can expect in Athas. In line to become a patrician, there was internal strife between families. On a carvan to Raam, things went awry. The old caravan master died in a raid. The hired hands mutinied and stole the goods (ultimately failing to do so). Titus arrived in Raam with no goods to sell. Destitute in Raam, he found the Veiled Alliance, whose ideals matched his.
While working for the Veiled Alliance, he went out on a mission for them. They found their way into the Feywild (though Titus does not remember this), and most of them died. He thinks he escaped after torture with newfound powers. It is likely he either struck a deal or a deal was made for him, making him a hexblade.
Titus is currently serving the Veiled Alliance and attempting to find a way back to Balic.
